March 1st - The weather is becoming more seasonable but is still about 10 degrees below what we usually have. The Olympics are over and although I did not get to watch much of them. there were some really good moments! Zion played a special at church yesterday and did a nice job. We recorded a CD last week and are going to finish the mix this week and have some ready for our gigs on March 13th and 14th. Of course the new earthquakes in Chile and Argentina bring us in mind that we need to continue to pray for those in need. The Bible tells us that things like this will happen so we should not be surprised but need to be watchful, prayerful and diligent. Remember that God holds all things together.
March 8th - CD is done and ready! Details at Old Hat website and that has been a lot of fun/work/effort all rolled into one. Spring is finally here! Temps are in the 50's and heading for the 60's. Vanya, Jazmyn, Zion and I slept in the Motor home Friday night in the yard. High excitement indeed! Need to do a BUNCH of raking. That is one problem with lots of trees isn't it. Jasper has been working longer hours at his job and will probably be quite busy through the summer. He and Starlit are still studying for taking the GED with tentative plans for a May graduation party. Will post details as they firm up. Have a great week!
